Andrew Lee, L.Ac
Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Growing up as a young child, Andrew was fortunate to be part of family with an oriental medicine background. His grand father was an oriental medicine doctor in Korea and he grew up in the family clinic. Even though he was very young, he was able to watch and observe how the medicine worked. The smell of the herbs cooking and the sounds of the patients coming in and out of the office still resonate in his early memories. “I believe this experience helped me to where I am now and will continue to be a positive influence in my practice”.
He graduated from Boston University with Bachelors in Health Sciences and then went on to receive a Masters of Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. He is currently enrolled full-time in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at UMDNJ-NEWARK and plans to graduate in year 2012. He has been practicing for the last year and a half in a dynamic acupuncture clinic with patients ranging from infertility, pain management, allergies, and stress management. “I have a passionate attitude in engaging with patients and guiding them to better physical, mental, and spiritual health. Certified Massage Therapist
Melissa Ubl, a Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Aide originally from Edison, New Jersey, is a student at Middlesex County College studying radiology. My passion for massage stems from a scare of cervical cancer when I was eighteen and my mother who was in a bad car accident which left her disabled and dependent on pain medications. I wanted a better quality of life for her and believed that touch can heal a lot of pain and other health issues naturally.I practice mostly deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports therapy including stretching, prenatal/postpartum, and Swedish massage. I have been practicing medical massage since 2005 and in 2009 I decided to return to school for radiology so that I can take my career to another level and work with patients going through radiation therapy for cancer. I have seen how my touch helps bring a sense of calm to people and lowers their pain so I feel that people who are going through a rough time such as cancer could use someone who can not only administering their treatment, but make them feel great and keep their spirits high.
